About our project:

The project ensures support for 130 pupils of Polish descent from the east (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Moldova, Armenia, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine) in the Dormitory. Children come from poor families, who can not afford to fully pay the costs of them living and studying in a Polish high school. Pupils live in the School’s Dormitory for 10 months a year. The Foundation collects funds to provide them with food, care (both pedagogical and psychological) as well as cleaning/hygenic products.

Our proteges:

Our pupils are students of LON Kolegium św. Stanisława kostki– young Poles from the East who fulfill their dreams of returning to the homeland of entire generations of Poles who, due to political decisions and mass displacement, found themselves outside their own country.

It is an exceptionally talented youth who wants to prepare the foundations for returning to all their families.

The school puts emphasis not only on education but also on the development of talents. We are aware of the fact that by combining these two elements in the education process, we achieve much better results, so when learning languages, we also use music lessons. Students integrate at the same time learning better their homeland during artistic and theater classes while developing their interpersonal skills.

Our pupils live in a school dormitory, and the main goal of the project “Second home for 130 pupils – Welcome home!” Is to provide them with the right conditions for living and learning.
